EMCID's East Texas Fire & Ice Festival Has a New Date

The East Texas Fire & Ice Festival is back this year, but will not be on its original set date. The festival has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 30 in order to take preventative measures against COVID-19.
The festival will be packed with fun options for everyone. Come enjoy ice slides with sledding, fireworks, a full-fledged carnival, fire performance, and other fun activities as well.
This year’s event will be hosted at Big Rivers Waterpark, which provides tons of room to include all your favorite activities and entertainment. This includes:
- Ice Wars: Battle of the Carvers
- Sangre Del Sol fire performers.
- BMX Pros Trick Team.
- Houston Disc & Dog Tricks.
- And an incredible Celestial Displays fireworks show!
This year's lineup also features a brand new act: Street Beat. Street Beat is an American urban drum and dance troupe. They substitute basic household items and various other objects for their drums, to create percussion-driven music.
In addition, the EMCID board will also honor a citizen of the community for their dedication and service to East Montgomery County. This wonderful individual will be the proud honoree of an Outstanding Citizen Award.
