Splendora Advances to Regional Quarterfinal and Ends Season Strong

The Splendora volleyball team is thrilled to go to the regional quarterfinals for the second time in the past three years, after beating out Houston Washington this past Saturday.
Splendora was led by their Captain Falon Buford who wrapped up the game with six aces and 27 assists. Beth Owens also had an incredible performance with 11 kills and nine aces. The Splendora Ladycats went into this game after an exciting five-set win over Orangefield.
Unfortunately, the road to the championship ended for Splendora when Belville swept them this past Tuesday, November 9th. Though the regular season is over, the Splendora Ladycats finished out their season strong with a 21-16 record.
