Splendora ISD Shares Success During Pandemic
February 04, 2021
Splendora ISD Superintendent, Dr. Jeff Burke, met with fellow Rotary Club of East Montgomery County to share the Districts success during the pandemic.
SISD was ready and able to provide both in-person and online learning in August, but now has approximately 93% of their students back onsite. The District has earned the Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase designation by successfully implementing a safe and connected environment for staff and students.
The staff continues to work on learning new ways to teach simultaneously in the classroom and remote. The District continues to amp up their stock of Chromebooks and internet accessibility.
The community of Splendora is continuing to grow with new communities like Harrington Trails developing and attracting new families. Splendora will continue to focus on providing exemplary education for their students.
