Splendora ISD is excited to announce their Two-Way Dual Language Program. The program offers an opportunity for students entering Kindergarten in the 2021-22 school year to become bilingual and bi-literate in English and Spanish while developing an understanding and appreciation for cultures.

Splendora ISD Education Foundation will be hosting their third annual golf scramble on May 27, 2021. The proceeds of this organized event will benefit the teachers of Splendora ISD.

Join Splendora High School Theatre Company this weekend as they present “You're a Good Man Charlie Brown”. The students have worked hard to present this fun and lively performance scheduled on January 15 at 7 pm and January 16 at 2 pm and 7 pm in the SHS Cafeteria.

The East Montgomery County Improvement District is hosting a “Holiday to Remember” located at 22296 Market Place Drive.

Lowe’s Co. Inc. has chosen New Caney as the location for their new distribution center opening in July. The center will be a part of the East Montgomery County Improvement District’s industrial park off Gene Campell Road between FM 1314 and FM 1485.

The band plays on! The Splendora High School band advances to the UIL Area Marching Contest following a unanimous division 1 rating at this year’s UIL Region Marching Contest. The band will head to Lindale, TX on Dec.

Harrington Trails students have the convenience of attending the new on-site Timber Lakes Elementary School which opened this past August. Timber Lakes will hold a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the brand new TLE playground on Saturday, November 28, at 10 am.

Searching for ways to get into the holiday spirit? Join Splendora Junior High for a Concert in the Park-ing Lot on Tuesday, December 8 at 7:00 p.m.

Wildcats are heading to the playoffs! The Splendora High School Wildcats football team ranks third in the district following last weeks win against LCM in Orange.

Splendora High School students are reeling it in! The Splendora Bass Fishing Team had several teams out this past week representing SHS on the DETX trail and Lake Sam Rayburn.

Freshen up your look for the holidays! The Splendora High School Cosmetology Department’s Wildcat Salon is preparing to open up for business. Starting on Thursday, November 5, the salon will be taking clients from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. every Thursday (excluding holiday breaks).
